Enfermedades que forma parte del Instituto Guatemalteco de Seguridad Social (IGSS), fue fundado en 1968.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Es un hospital de nivel IV, dedicado a la atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica hospitalaria especializada,\u00a0 comprometido con la protecci\u00f3n de la salud y la vida de sus afiliados, derechohabientes y beneficiarios.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_55104\" principalmente en el \u00e1rea de la Emergencia, as\u00ed como servicios hospitalarios especializados para el manejo de:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Enfermedad com\u00fan y medicina interna, incluyendo padecimientos agudos, enfermedades cr\u00f3nicas y atenci\u00f3n especializada<\/li>\n<li>Cirug\u00edas de emergencia y de alta complejidad, como procedimientos abdominales, oncol\u00f3gicos, vasculares, tor\u00e1cicos y reconstructivos<\/li>\n<li>Especialidades y subespecialidades m\u00e9dicas, entre ellas cardiolog\u00eda, oncolog\u00eda, neurolog\u00eda, neumolog\u00eda, gastroenterolog\u00eda, infectolog\u00eda, reumatolog\u00eda, endocrinolog\u00eda, psiquiatr\u00eda y otras<\/li>\n<li>Servicios de diagn\u00f3stico especializados, como laboratorio cl\u00ednico,
