y gestiona el trabajo son factores que constituyen el entorno psicosocial laboral y que, al tener un impacto negativo, se convierten en riesgos que afectan la salud y seguridad de los trabajadores, promover la prevenci\u00f3n de los accidentes y enfermedades laborales.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>El doctor Mynor Mej\u00eda, jefe de la Secci\u00f3n de Higiene y Prevenci\u00f3n de Accidentes del IGSS, indic\u00f3 que los riesgos psicosociales son una amenaza creciente y silenciosa, ya que no son visibles y palpables como los accidentes, pero pueden causar ausentismo laboral y el aumento de otros riesgos del trabajo.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Algunos de estos factores son:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>La carga laboral<\/li>\n<li>Las jornadas de trabajo<\/li>\n<li>El apoyo<\/li>\n<li>La comunicaci\u00f3n<\/li>\n<li>La claridad de roles<\/li>\n<li>Los procesos justos y transparentes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cLas consecuencias pueden ser el estr\u00e9s, la ansiedad y depresi\u00f3n, lo que puede causar ausentismo laboral y el aumento de otras enfermedades y riesgos laborales\u201d, agreg\u00f3 el profesional en el marco del D\u00eda Mundial de la Salud y Seguridad en el Trabajo.<\/p>\n<p>De acuerdo con el informe \u201cEl entorno psicosocial en el trabajo: avances mundiales y v\u00edas de acci\u00f3n\u201d de la Organizaci\u00f3n Internacional del Trabajo (OIT), los factores de riesgo psicosocial son responsables de m\u00e1s de 840,000 muertes anuales como consecuencia de enfermedades cardiovasculares y trastornos mentales asociados.<\/p>\n<figure trabajo.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>El informe tambi\u00e9n calcula que el impacto combinado entre las enfermedades cardiovasculares y los trastornos mentales asociados a factores de riesgo psicosocial supone la p\u00e9rdida anual del 1.37 % del PIB mundial.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A decir del doctor Mynor Mej\u00eda, un entorno psicosocial saludable se garantiza apelando a la parte legal, a la \u00e9tica de la empresa y a las continuas verificaciones de la normativa que realiza el Seguro Social y el Ministerio de Trabajo. \u201cUna alianza estrat\u00e9gica fundamental es el sector gobierno, sector empresarial y sector trabajador, un ente tripartito que puede trabajar en conjunto para el bienestar de todos\u201d, dijo.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_55809\" entornos psicosociales saludables.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>El Instituto Guatemalteco de Seguridad Social promueve entornos saludables en el trabajo a trav\u00e9s de tres estrategias: la promoci\u00f3n de la salud y la seguridad en el trabajo, la capacitaci\u00f3n y formaci\u00f3n de monitores en salud y seguridad ocupacional y la inspecci\u00f3n en las empresas para verificar el cumplimiento de la normativa.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTodos los esfuerzos para que los trabajadores puedan estar en ambientes seguros y saludables se tienen que hacer, no solo por ley, sino por
